Two GBM swimmers participated in these Championships in Sheffield and like their team mates in the Age Groups Championships the week before, found the competition tough.
They both swam really well and achieved the following results:
Many congratulations to both of them.
Three GBM swimmers made their way up to Sheffield for this year’s National Age Group Championships, all of them returning for the second year running.
The competition as ever was very tough and all the GBM swimmers swam very well achieving PB’s and leaving them wanting to return again next year for more!
The swimmers achieved the following results:
Well done to all of them - Emma Mitchell, Neema Nyaulingo and Natasha Sinha
Natasha Sinha (13) represented GBM at this prestigious meet in Sheffield. Natasha qualified for the 100m Butterfly in 13/14 age group. As this meet was being used as the trials for the Commonwealth Games being held in Delhi later this year, numerous GB swimmers were competing including Rebecca Adlington and Jo Jackson to name a couple. Natasha wasn't fazed and swum a season's best of 1.07.39
This is a fantastic achievement and Natasha should be extremely proud for getting to such a high profile meet. Many congratulations to Natasha.
