The two weekends of the Age Groups Championship provided good swims from the swimmers and the following results.
Many congratulations to Joan Tello Alvarez who qualified for the Nationals on 100m Breaststroke.
Well done to all the swimmers who took part and especially to those who competed at this regional event for the first time.

Special mention to the swimmers who qualified for the Finals but were finished outside the Top Three medal places – Luke Brewster (14) 200m Freestyle; Amaia del Rio Foces (11) 100m Breaststroke, 200m Breaststroke; Emma Mitchell (13) 100m Backstroke; Neema Nyaulingo (12) 100m Backstroke; Natasha Sinha (13) 200m Freestyle; Joan Tello Alvarez (14) 100m Butterfly, 100m Backstroke & 200m Breaststroke
The girls 4 x 100m Freestyle Team also came 3rd: Kelly Botero, Emma Mitchell, Neema Nyaulingo and Natasha Sinha

Also Competing for GBM was: Victor del Rio Foces, Richard de Rome, Joe Doublet, Ellen Dunbar, Joe Erb, Evan McDonald, Chanel Robinson and Natalie Smith
A small group of GBM swimmers went to Crystal Palace for these Championships.
In the Heat Declared Events, the following results were achieved
Leonie Buck (14) also won medals in the following Multi Disability Events – 1st Place 50m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke, 100m Freestyle and 2nd Place in 100m Breaststroke
The following qualified for Finals and finished outside the top three medal places:
Leanne Hennessy (14/15 yrs) in 100m Backstroke; Aimee Lockwood (14/15 yrs) in 50m Butterfly and Holly Wylie (14/15 yrs) in 200m Breaststroke; 50m Backstroke; 200m IM; 200m Backstroke; 100m Breaststroke and 50m Butterfly. Josh Ling also qualified for the 100m Breaststroke final but declined to swim.
