The final round of the KJL took place in Dover on a wet and windy November evening but that did not deter the GBM troops from turning up and giving it their best. There were some excellent swims in all of the age groups and GBM showed the other teams that they were serious contenders.
The result was an unexpected but well deserved 2nd place on the night and third place overall. This is a fantastic achievement considering the team only moved up to the 2nd division last year and it is the first time that GBM has managed to stay up in this division for the year following promotion. Well done to all who swam as part of the team during the league. Keep up the good work in training because next year we are going back stronger and faster than ever.
