Round 5
6th September 2008

The Club’s performance in this 5th Round gala resulted in a 3rd position, our best position and points gained to date. Parents and poolside helpers helped cheer the swimmers all the way and they swam with great passion and energy and several PB’s were broken in the process. Once again, many thanks to the parents who helped out with timekeeping and other tasks on poolside, Head Coach Gil Levy and Coach Bob Blake who helped organise and coordinate and last, but not least the swimmers.

Representing GBM were: Aaran Baggia, Hayley Bennett, Richard Blatchford, Joshua Brewster, Laura Colgan, RachelCope, Grace de Rome, Richard de Rome, Ellen Dunbar, Ben Duxbury, Nick Duxbury, Fiona Hennessy, Leanne Hennessy, Hannah Jones, Max Kong, Joshua Ling, Ashley Newman, Neema Nyaulingo, Sophie Parkes, Josh Pemberton-Hill, Dylan Pratt McCullagh, Laura Porritt, Chanel Robinson, Andrew Smith, Toby Shrimpton, Joe Simmons, Natasha Sinha, Joan Tello Alvarez, Juliette Tunstall, Dan Wood, Holly Wylie, Lily Wylie and Robert Yates
